On Oct. 28, Siemens USA awarded Larsen Manufacturing with its Small Business Supplier of the Year award at the fifth-annual Small and Diverse Supplier Awards. The virtual ceremony was combined with the annual U.S. Excellence Awards, which recognized Siemens employees who demonstrate exemplary work and champion a culture of ownership.
“We would like to sincerely thank Larsen today for helping fuel our growth while maintaining the quality standards and delivery reliability we need to be successful,” said Adam Gabriel, Siemens project manager-SI EP, who presented the award.
Siemens is one of Larsen’s top five customers and ships products to four of their manufacturing locations and two distribution centers in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. In 2021, Larsen successfully launched the Trims project that developed automation and robotic solutions to drive manufacturing efficiency, improve processes consistently and deliver material savings.
“It’s remarkable that our staff has done such a good job with this pandemic,” said Dave Larsen, CEO of Larsen Manufacturing. “If it wasn’t for Siemens and your entire organization, your engineering staff your purchasing crew, everyone has done a great job of collaboration through this remarkable time of taking technology and stretching it to its utmost performance of what we can do for Siemens today and in the future to come.”
Throughout the ceremony, Siemens emphasized how proud they were to honor and recognize their small and diverse suppliers who demonstrated excellence in their partnership with them, as well as support their Supplier Diversity program and their commitment to corporate social responsibility.
